Universe-al Mantras

"Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should." (Kahlil Gibran)

"Let go, let God." (Alcoholics Anonymous?)

"Don't push the river." (Barry Stevens)

"Trust your life" (Peg's therapist)

Just thought I'd share these simple but profound statements that I try to remember and live by.

Are you inviting us to add our own, Dr. Peg? Those are pretty good ones I must say!
I like this one, but I just made it up.
"When I don't know what I should do next, I just try to be courageous and creative and do something. I like to think we're all on this earth to help one another, so I like to do things for others even if it's not with any organized group or even if no recognition comes my way."
Also, "I like to have fun learning all sorts of new things. I like meeting new people. I think everyone has something to teach me."
On the other hand, "life is so short I recently decided to stop thinking so much about weighty things and the puzzle WILL all fall into place, especially, if I do what's right and do what gives me joy."

from my daddy:
"Don't wish your life away"

(repeated whenever someone uttererd "I wish it was summer/Christmas/Friday whatever)

From grandpa
"If you reach for the stars, you may make it to the lamp post, but if you reach for the lamp post, you might end up in the gutter"

"do what gives me joy"

I like that one, anafaran. It reminds me of one that is a constant challenge for me, but one that I think is True with a capital T.

Live in the moment.
